Herbie Shon Brian, I CANNOT believe you. 20 years old and you're already a trumpet playing monster! Your playing wisdom is far beyond your years, and your sound is so beautiful. I enjoyed listening to your songs rotating in the background, but need to support such genius with a purchase. I look forward to listening to all of your future projects as well. I'm a "comeback" trumpet player after a 27-year hiatus, I sincerely appreciate and admire not just your incredible technique, but how you play conceptually. Just fantastic. Herbie
Brian Kendrick Hi Brian, How's things? Hope you are having a great time in NYC. I had a busy summer with lots of music and fun. I'll miss seeing you and playing music with you. Please stay in touch and if you are out this way let's get together. All the best, Brian
Buriti, Alex Hi, my name is Alex Buriti.
I’m from Brazil and next September 5Th. I’ll arrived in Toronto for study English, but I need to buy a trumpet.
Do you have or do you know how has the trumpet bach 37 or Holton St 307 Bb to sell?
Thanks in advance.
Buriti, Alex
Odies Williams I'm a trumpet player and a big Freddie Hubbard fan. How can I get the entire show that contains Freddie playing "Thermo"?
Odies
Cory Cox I love your site bro=) NY!!!!!
Mel Stagnaro Greetings,
Sorry, I don't have any bookings to offer, but I am interested in your new CD. I guess the best way is through Amazon?? I love 2AM.
I spoke briefly with you after the Brubeck Festival Monday night show in Stockton with the Open World Octet about Alexey Chernakov, the piano player who played with you a couple of years ago. I remember you played a Trilogy "part 2" that night. I bought his recording of Part One that night, but I would love to hear your version Part two again if there is a recording. If so, is there a way to get a copy?
I fear you have left "Dodge" by now, but let me know if anything can be worked out. If you are still on campus, I can arrange to meet you and perhaps purchase a copy of the new CD as well. I have enjoyed your music these last three years; good luck in your travels.

Rafael Luna Hi i called you about some questions and just wondering if you can keep my email to chat. Hope everything is going well and good luck in everything you do you sound great man. I on the other hand am a Virtuoso Flute Player and i hope to get into the Brubeck Institute with the fellowship Quintet group. My questions are do you get payed to play? that is not really important to me because music is my life it is something that i was born with the help of God of course. I ask this because i always play in alot of places and when i do the manager ends up paying someone else even though i was the soloist. my other question is there alot of gigs? Busy? what was your experience when you got in the Fellowship Program? What is it like playing in the group? is Lucas Pino still there at UOP?
Adam Arruda killin' website bro,

Robbie Kwock Happened to chance upon you while checking out freddie videos. And I am so impressed with your playing and charisma, and had no idea a trumpeter as yourself was right down I-5 from myself. Definitely will check you out live when you're gigging in the area. Congrats on your recordings!
Julia Thomas Hey there Brian,

buddy cohen I am from Birmingham, Al (do you know where that is?) and I visited my 44-yr-old daughter who recently moved to Toronto from Atlanta, GA. When she was living in Atlanta we attended 2 DBQ concerts in the last few years. I became a fan of DBQ when I was in college in the 1950s. We attended the concert Monday night, and I want to tell you that I think you are sensational!! I was literally blown away! - you remind me so much of Miles. Now I am ending this short e-mail because I am eager to order your CD as quickly as I can.
Best of luck in the future - Brian, you are a star!
...Buddy Cohen
Sarah Quiroz Wow! I've never heard someone so young play so well. You must be such a phenomenal person... in fact, I know you are, because I happen to be the unofficial "6th member" of the Brubeck institute, haha, jk. I am so proud of you and all the boys. love always & forever -SQ
one of your shortest fans... such a pleasure to read your heartfelt, end of the year sentiments, Bri...you and the "Bruboys" have made some mighty beautiful music together these past 2 years...many congratulations on completing your fellowship program with the Brubeck Institute, and very exciting that you will now continue on there with this challenging employment opportunity! You have much to be proud of!
xoxo someone who loves you

John Alsace Hello Mr. Chahley, my name is John Alsace. We met briefly at your concert in Barcelona, Spain for the U.S. Consulate 4th of July Celebration. I was the son of the Consul General. Lately I have had an increasing interest in music as a profession, and am seriously considering taking a major in Music Management and Merchandising, and also have been looking into the University of the Pacific as one of my choices for a college. I was wondering if you could tell me a little about what the music industry is like. It would be much appreciated. Thankyou. And by the way, thanks for the copy of your 2 A.M. Cd, its great, one of my favorites.
Sincerely,
John Alsace
