The Brubeck Institiute
The Brubeck Institute was established by the University of the Pacific in 2000 to honor its distinguished alumni Dave and Iola Brubeck. The Institute is the realization of the Brubecks’ lifelong dedication to music, education, and the advancement of important social issues. The mission of the Institute is to build on Dave Brubeck’s legacy – quintessentially American in origin, international in scope and unique in its breadth.
The Brubeck Institute achieves its objectives through five core programs. Each program works in conjunction with the others and all serve the central mission. The programs include the Brubeck Archive, Brubeck Festival, Brubeck Outreach Program, Brubeck Fellowship Program, and the Summer Jazz Colony.
I have been and will be a member of the Brubeck Institute Fellowship program from August 2005 - May 2007. Check out the website for more details.

Dimeadozen is the ultimate music bootleg tracker (BitTorrent). The standards are high, and they have music from every genre (lots of Jazz) available. They only accept 93,000 users at a time so it is difficult to get an account, but worth the wait. Reccommended for the techno-savvy only.
